Brand protection

trademark · trademark registration

Brand protection is legally securing and defending brand assets: name, logo, colour, shape and other distinctive features, through trademark registration and adjacent rights. It is the legal moat around what marketing builds: distinctive assets only become durable property when competitors and counterfeiters must keep off by law. Good protection starts at creation (choose assets you can actually claim), registers per market and class, and enforces consistently. The limit matters equally: a trademark protects signs, not positions; stop using and charging the assets and you are left with a register entry without value.
